Orelenergo’s staff took part in the charity event "Do Good"

Staff of IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division supported the initiative of the Youth Government of the Orel region to collect aid for orphans within the event "Do Good", timed to coincide with the beginning of the school year.

The event started at the end of July, the collection of gifts and cash was announced throughout the region. Employees of Orelenergo were not indifferent. The trade union of the company organized collection of donations on which school supplies were purchased. With the collected funds office supplies and personal hygiene items for the "Orel boarding school for pupils with severe speech disorders" were purchased.

"We express our deep gratitude to the staff of Orelenergo for taking part in the event. Their donated notebooks, markers, paints and albums become the best gift for pupils of the boarding school for the new school year," stressed Chair of the Youth Government of the Orel region Ekaterina Polyakova.

For Orelenergo, as a socially responsible enterprise, helping children in need of adult care is not limited to one-off events. For over 10 years employees of the branch have been patronizing Znamenskaya boarding school where children from disadvantaged families study. The power engineers try to provide all possible assistance to the institution in solving everyday problems and social adaptation of its pupils, taking part in the organization of their daily work and holiday events.
