Tambovenergo congratulated one of the region’s largest defense companies - "October" plant on the anniversary of the Labour Glory Museum

Staff of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division took part in the events commemorating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Labour Glory Museum of JSC "Tambov Plant "October". Employees of state, municipal, departmental, school and private museums in the city of Tambov, including representatives of Tambovenergo, where the Museum of History of the Tambov Power System is situated, were invited for the jubilee celebrations.

JSC "Tambov Plant "October" is part of JSC “Sozvezdie” Concern, which unites 20 enterprises of radio-electronic complex from different regions of the country, and is the only one to date Russian enterprise specializing in the production of high-power radio transmitting devices. It produces command and staff vehicles on motor and full-tracked chassis and a new generation of low power radio stations as well. The plant employs about 1.5 thousand people. The Labour Glory Museum was founded in 1986, it stores unique materials about the history of the plant, its leaders and the best employees, samples of products and awards.

The power engineers, together with the other guests of the anniversary visited the museum with a tour, and got acquainted with the work of industrial workshops of the enterprise. Then the guests were invited to the celebration in the House of Culture, acting at the "October" site, where there was a festive concert prepared by the factory workers. As a gift Tambovenergo’s representatives transferred to the museum the anniversary edition of the book "The energy of creation", which tells about the history and the everyday work of regional power systems in Central Russia.

Tambovenergo’s management also congratulated the company on the festive date. Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division director Vladimir Syschikov sent a congratulatory address to the head of the plant Artem Butov. "The Labour Glory Museum plays an important role in preserving the memory of the building of "October", its development and expansion, the production process, and most importantly the people - real professionals," the document says.

Long-term cooperation binds Tambovenergo and the plant "October". "October" receives electricity from the same feeding centre substation 110/6 kV, which since 2008 is part of the facilities belonging to the service area of the branch. In 2010 Tambovenergo overhauled the power facility, thus ensuring high-quality and reliable power supply of the enterprise.
