IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division continues implementing the investment program in 2016, one of the priorities of which is the grid connection of new customers. The branch fully performed the plan of the first half of 2016 on the investment program, having disbursed capital investments in the amount of 610.359 million rubles. Including on the technical re-equipment and reconstruction of power facilities the branch spent 297.097 million rubles, and 313.262 million rubles were invested in construction of new facilities.
In the reporting period 320.998 million rubles were spent on grid connection of residential customers and legal entities. At the same time 2,185 consumers were connected to the grid of the Smolenskenergo branch. 187 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines were constructed and reconstructed, 16.686 MVA of capacity was commissioned for their grid connections.
Total for the 1st half of the year under the investment program 205.683 kilometres of power lines of different voltage levels were commissioned, energy facilities with a total capacity of 19.013 MVA were constructed and reconstructed.
Investments in the reconstruction of automation and communication equipment amounted to 93.236 million rubles.
The investment program is aimed at providing reliable and quality electricity supply to consumers in the region, increasing the availability of power grid infrastructure for dynamic socio-economic development of the Smolensk region.
