IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the work on grid connection of consumers in the first half of 2016. During the reporting period 578 facilities with a total capacity of 20.3 MW were connected to the electric grids of the branch, which is 48% higher than the previous year (13.7 MW).
Among the largest applicants there are working in the region construction and agribusiness companies: LLC "TambovCapitalProject", LLC "Spetsmontazh" (residential houses), LLC "Tambov Turkey" and LLC "Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant" (incubators), LLC "Agrocombinat Tambovkrakhmal" (a plant for production of modified starch) and MUE "Michurinsk City Electric Networks". 79 grid connection contracts under significant facilities of municipal infrastructure (street lighting) were also executed.
In carrying out the obligations in a timely manner and in full to connect to the grid of large industrial, residential and social facilities, installations of small and medium-sized businesses, Tambovenergo promotes the expansion of the tax base in the region, creating new jobs and implementation of effective housing policies, thereby supporting the socio- economic development of the Tambov region.
