Last weekend staff of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division and their families made a two-day canoe trip along the Voronezh River. The organizer of the event was the union committee of Voronezhenergo.
The power engineers’ route ran from the village of Sindyakino in the Lipetsk region to the Voronezh village of Stupino, the distance was 30 kilometres. A total of 20 people participated in the trip. On the route the canoers were accompanied by a professional instructor, who ensured the safety and comfort of the whole trip.
The trip was full of activities - during stops the power engineers played volleyball and swam. A visit to a mobile steam bath excited them very much, as well as cooking pancakes in the field. Sunsets were accompanied by a long conversation around the campfire. All participants received a lot of positive emotions - they not just spent the weekend in a warm and friendly company, but also were able to visit many beautiful places of their native land and escape from the city.
"We make canoe trips for the third consecutive year, and try to arrange them several times during the season, as more and more employees want to participate in this interesting and useful event. This kind of outdoor activities not only gives positive energy, but also strengthens the corporate spirit," stresses a leading specialist of integrated management systems of Voronezhenergo Evgenia Karlova.
