Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division as part of the production program implementation in 2016 continue comprehensive overhaul of one of the main supply centres of Morshansky district - the 110 kV substation "Algasovskaya". Work is being carried out in preparation of the power facility for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017.
The substation "Algasovskaya", commissioned in 1973, is a source of power for the gas compressor station GCS 17, supplying gas to some settlements of Morshansky district, and provides power to four large settlements inhabited by one and a half thousand people and significant industrial and social facilities are located. In the course of the work at the power facility two 110 kV power transformer and a few tens of units of various types of equipment will be renovated, arrangements for landscaping will be made. Completion of the work at the "Algasovskaya" substation is planned for the end of August.
"The implementation of the set of the planned activities at the substation "Algasovskaya" ensures the protection and smooth operation of electrical equipment, the reliability and stability of electricity supply to residents of Morshansky district at low temperatures," stresses First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Tambovenergo Igor Polyakov.
