IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division is preparing for work in the conditions of established in the territory of the Tambov region abnormally hot and dry weather. According to weather forecasts, 14-17 July, the maximum temperature in the region can reach 34°C, which is more than 7°C above normal. In this regard, risks of forest and man-made fires are increasing, as well as failures at electric power facilities.
Tambovenergo’s experts are taking all measures necessary to ensure reliable operation of the region’s electric grid facilities. Effective cooperation has been established with heads of municipalities, General Directorate of EMERCOM in the Tambov region, the Upper Don Transmission Grid Company and contractors. In order to promptly eliminate possible technological disturbances the enterprise has organized duty of decision makers, mobile and other crews.
Unscheduled briefings on the work in the conditions of high ambient temperature were carried out with operating personnel. Inventory, equipment and protective gear of mobile and repair crews was checked. Readiness for the work of equipment, special vehicles, machines and mechanisms, availability and serviceability of communication means were also checked. Fire safety conditions at power facilities have been strengthened.
Tambovenergo’s specialists regularly carry out rounds and inspections of equipment, carefully monitor the electrical load and thermal conditions of its work. Particular attention is paid to checking the oil level and cooling systems.
Accurate and timely implementation by Tambovenergo’s staff of all provided at work under abnormal weather measures allows quickly to respond to possible abnormal situations at power facilities of the branch, to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
