IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division held a scientific-practical conference "Young professionals - to the production", organized by IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division and the department "Power supply" of Orel State Agrarian University (OrelSAU). The event was attended by representatives of Orelenergo, power engineers of major companies in the region, professors and students of OrelSAU, Nizhny Novgorod State Engineering and Economic University and Don State Agrarian University.
Participants of the conference discussed projects to develop the regional power facilities of the Orel region presented by graduates of electrotechnical specialties of OrelSAU. This, in particular, is a program of reconstruction of existing electric grids and electric equipment in rural areas, as well as projects for electrification of enterprises. The project authors supported their developments by technological and economic calculations, justifying the possibility of their practical application in existing power facilities. Some projects have already been taken on board for use at Orelenergo.
"Researches of young professionals from OrelSAU have not only theoretical but also practical value. Several developments, presented by the graduates at the conference, according to experts, have prospects for further implementation in productive activities," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division director Igor Kolubanov.
Orelenergo and OrelSAU have long-term fruitful cooperation. The company is interested in attracting competent promising young professionals and regularly organizes for students of the department "Power supply" industrial practice, in which future power engineers are introduced to the main activities of the company, its material and technical base and structure. Part of the joint work is scientific and practical conferences, where exchange of knowledge, experiences and innovative projects between specialists of the company and students and academic staff of the university is made.
