IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held a solemn opening of the next season of students’ construction crews. For the third year members of the crew "Energetic" will work at facilities of the enterprise, formed from pre-selected students of the Southwestern State University (SWSU) enrolled in the specialty "Power supply". Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they will participate in repair and construction activities, laying cable lines and providing fire safety of substations. The members of "Energy" will also be involved in conducting electrical safety lessons in children’s recreation camps.
The solemn meeting was attended by heads of the branch and SWSU, representatives of the Council of Veterans and the Youth Council of Kurskenergo, partner organizations. The event was held at the site of the training centre, where models of equipment used in the distribution grid of the region are demonstrated. As noted, speaking with a welcoming speech, by Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky, the venue of the ceremony is no coincidence: it is here that you can the best way feel the spirit of energy. "For you the construction crew - it is some good help in professional development, rich practical experience. For us - the ability to carry out career - guidance, to show you what knowledge and skills the employee of Kurskenergo must have," stressed Alexander.
"The construction crew is not just a student’s practice. This is the first contract of employment, the first steps in the profession. You have a great opportunity to learn the specifics of it from the inside, to show your talents to a potential employer," added a professor of the chair "Power supply" of SWSU, in the past - an employee of Kurskenergo Ivan Eshtokin.
The crew-2015 leader Sergey Agibalov gave start to the working semester. He passed the current leader of "Energy" Nikita Serzhevsky a protective helmet, received from the hands of General Director of PJSC "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin in 2014 at the close of the season of construction crews of electric grid facilities in the Crimea. Thus, there was the first tradition of the student’s construction crew.
The students started working after induction and initial briefings on occupational safety and fire safety, as well as familiarization with the internal labour regulations. Kurskenergo for them also prepared a rich and informative leisure program, during the labour semester the members of "Energy" will have a tour at power facilities and take part in creative competitions held by PJSC "Rosseti" in which they are proposed to keep photo, video diaries, write the crew’s song and poetry of everyday work.
