For five months IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division performed 3,404 grid connection contracts with a total capacity of 63.819 MW. 969 legal entities and 2,435 individuals were connected to the power grid. The planned volume of connections this year is about 7,500 contracts with a total capacity of 108.3 MW.
About 60% of the total number of grid connection contracts accounts for individual developers. Among the major agricultural producers electricity was provided to "PromAgro" in Stary Oskol, the second stage of the Alekseevsky feed mill, a workshop for production of feed for valuable and pond fish species of the "Agroakademiya" company in Shebekinsky district.
Last year the branch connected to the grid a pig farm of PromAgro with its capacity of 30 thousand tons of meat per year in the Ozersk rural settlement, as well as a plant for production of vitamin-grass flour with its maximum capacity of 630 kW, this year - a processing plant and feed mill and grain silos for simultaneous storage of grain up to 30 thousand tons in the village of Rogovatoye in Stary Oskolsky district with its maximum capacity of 1.5 MW. In 2016 the company plans to launch another plant - for production and processing of meat, and then it will be able to process the entire volume of produced pork. In view of the newly constructed enterprise the facilities of PromAgro will require 6 MW. For their power supply a total of over 10 km of power lines will be constructed and five transformer substations will be put into operation.
To connect the Alekseevsky feed mill 10 km of cable lines were laid. This year with the commissioning of the 2nd stage the opportunity to consume the requested maximum power of 3.5 MW was provided.
More than one kilometre of 6 kV networks was constructed in Shebekinsky district under the grid connection of a new plant for production of feed for valuable and pond fish species of the "Agroakademiya" company. In addition, the branch mounted a package transformer substation of 6-0.4 kV.
A simplified connection procedure was established by the Russian legislation for facilities of small businesses with customer contract demand of up to 150 kW. Calculating the cost of connection fees for them is made at preferential rates approved by the Commission on the state regulation of prices and tariffs of the Belgorod region. In Valuisky district this way power supply was provided to a farm for growing geese with its productivity of about 50 thousand goslings a year and a site for fattening broilers of "Ovchinnikovo".
Among socially significant budgetary institutions electricity was provided to kindergartens ## 36 and 38 in Gubkin and kindergarten #3 for 115 places in the residential neighbourhood "Northern" in the town of Shebekino. For its power supply a 6 kV cable line was laid and a transformer substation was installed.
By the end of the year the energy company plans to perform the other 4,099 contracts for a total capacity of 44.481 MW.
