Kostroma schoolchildren walked the "safety route"

08.07.2016

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division together with representatives of regional offices of EMERCOM of Russia and the Russian Interior Ministry traffic police, the regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Organization and fire station # 8 of the city of Volgorechensk conducted a routing game on the safety theme "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers" for children, resting in the camp "Elektronik" in Kostromsky district of the Kostroma region. More than 200 children aged from 7 to 14 participated in it.

Divided into groups, the participants went on a route, consisting of six "thematic" stations: fire safety, road safety, water safety, etc. There they were met by representatives of the relevant organizations and agencies, who told the children how to behave in a given emergency.

At the station "Electrical Safety" specialists of the production control and occupational health and safety office of Kostromaenergo introduced the children to the rules of behaviour near operating electrical installations, they warned them of the danger posed by electrical current, showed warning signs and posters. At other stations representatives of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Organization, the State Inspection of Small Vessels and the traffic police were taught the children to use a fire extinguisher properly, call the fire department on the phone 01 or 112, tell them about the rules of behaviour on the water and on the roadway. A good end of the game was the "fire" stage, where a demonstration to its participants of work of a water jet turned into joint water treatments.

"The employees of Kostromaenergo perform in our camp safety activities not for the first time," says the director of the recreational camp "Elektronik" Olga Stupakova, "and they do it great! The children absorb information in the course of the game easily, with interest, ask a lot of questions. We are very grateful to all the experts who took part in its organization, and will be glad to see them again."
