Tambovenergo renews its vehicle fleet

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continues to renew the fleet of automotive and special vehicles of its business units. Some days ago the power company at the disposal received 18 crew vehicles based on the "UAZ" car, three truck aerial work platforms, one KamAZ - a tractor with a semi-trawl. The new motor vehicles will be sent to Distribution Zones of the branch. All the vehicles passed state registration and are completely ready to enter the line.

Currently Tambovenergo’s fleet has special all-terrain vehicles, multipurpose vehicles, mowers for clearing ROWs of overhead lines from trees and shrubs, as well as line crew vehicles, pole carriers, cranes and pole-hole diggers. By the end of July in addition to those already received by the branch vehicles there will be two "Chevrolet Niva" cars.

"Receipt of new vehicles in the fleet of the branch takes place on a regular basis, under the program of renovation of special vehicles. For us it is a strategically important activity, as the availability of modern, serviceable and reliable equipment is a prerequisite for maximum immediate elimination of emergency situations, providing consumers with high-quality and uninterrupted power supply," stressed the head of the mechanization and transport service of Tambovenergo Vitaly Polyakov.
