Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division as part of implementation of the production program in 2016 continue performing comprehensive overhaul of one of the main supply centres of the Tambov region - the substation (SS) 110 kV "Komsomolskaya". The work is being carried out in preparation of the power facility for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017.
The substation "Komsomolskaya" was commissioned in 1974, is a source of power supply of seven settlements where two and a half thousand people live and significant industrial and social facilities are located: JSC "Tander" (regional base of the store network "Magnit"), a milk plant, a brick factory. In the course of the work at the power facility two 110 kV power transformers and a few tens of units of various types of equipment will be renovated, arrangements for landscaping will be made. The work at the Komsomolskaya substation is planned to be fully completed by the end of August.
"The overhaul of the substation will allow to minimize probability of technological breakdowns during peak loads, to provide quality and reliable power supply to consumers," stresses the head of the substation service of the high-voltage grid office of Tambovenergo Vitaly Belyaev.
