IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held a ceremonial opening of the third employment season of students’ construction crews. This summer, students of the Faculty of electrification and automation of agriculture of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (KGSHA) will have their working shift at the company’s facilities in the construction crew "Energy-44". The young people will be involved in the repair and construction work, in work related to the provision of fire safety of substations, in the laying of cable lines, in preparation of data for grid connection agreements.
The members of "Energy-44" were welcomed by Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division director Alexander Glebov and Rector of KGSHA Sergey Zudin. "You have chosen the interesting and important profession. I hope that the knowledge and experience that you get in our company will be useful to you in the future," stressed Alexander Glebov, handing work permits over to the students. "We are grateful for the attention of Kostromaenergo and opportunities that the company provides you, the future energy industry professionals. I am sure that you will justify the confidence," stressed Sergey Zudin.
The leader of "Energy-44" Vladislav Timinskiy set an objective to his members to get positive results: "Our goal is to gain a good reputation and in practice to show all what we’ve learned. We are very pleased that we have the opportunity to gain experience at such a large, dynamic company. We are not afraid of difficulties - because experienced mentors will be next to us, who help and advise." According to Vladislav, now all the guys from his crew are planning to link their lives with the energy industry.
After the solemn ceremony the power engineers arranged for the members of the construction crew a tour to the Museum of the Kostroma power system history and the Grid Control Centre of Kostromaenergo. And the first day of the employment term ended with a communication training, which was organized for the students by representatives of the Youth Council of the company.
