IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division opened the third season of students’ construction crews. This year, nineteen students of the Bryansk State Agricultural University (BSAU) and one representative of MPEI will work at production facilities of the enterprise under the guidance of experienced staff. The celebratory assembly, dedicated to the beginning of the employment semester, took place in the village of Kokino in the territory of the BSAU.
The head of the HR office of Bryanskenergo Anna Nozdracheva pronounced commencement address to members of the construction crew. She congratulated them on the beginning of the work shift, noting that in the work process they will be able to apply their knowledge received at the university in practice, learn the power engineering profession from inside. The head of the distribution grids office of the branch Mikhail Kalinin wished the students successful work and gave the work permit the crew leader Roman Polyakov.
The labour watch of the members of the construction crew will be held in Bryansky, Mglinsky, Dyatkovsky and Karachevsky Distribution Zones. Their duties will be to update operators’ names and conduct routine inspections of overhead power lines (Conductors) and transformer substations (TS) of 10/04 kV; check and repair of transformer substations and power transformers of 10/0.4 kV; check the status of fixtures and equipment at the base; taking readings of metering devices of residential customers; cleaning of tree residues when clearing ROWs of 0.4-10 kV Conductors, etc. The members of the construction crew will not be involved in increased danger work.
The students concluded employment contracts for the period from 1 July to 12 August with work record books, they will be paid wages. Before they begin to perform any of the job duties, the students will get necessary instructions for civil defense and safety. Moreover, training on a crash course in the profession "Electrician operating distribution grids" with confirmation of electrical safety groups 2 and 3 has been organized for them, which were assigned to them in their educational institution.
According to the head of the HR office of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division Anna Nozdracheva, the work of construction crews helps the company attract young talented specialists, the construction crew movement revival in the industry also promotes the youth interest in the power engineering occupation.
