IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for five months in 2016. All scheduled for this period by the document activities were performed, on a number of indicators the work was carried out ahead of schedule.
From January to May Tambovenergo’s specialists repaired 62 transformer substations (TS) of 6-10 kV (30 TS at the plan) and 84 transformers of 10/0.4 kV (plan - 70). They repaired 155.4 km of overhead lines (Conductors) of 0.4-110 kV at the plan of 150.8 km. They cleared 199.2 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines (the plan was fulfilled by 103%).
In May, the energy company began to perform comprehensive repair of the 110 kV substations "Komsomolskaya" and "Algasovskaya", which feed a total of 124 settlements, where there are more than 30 thousand people, 30 hospitals, 47 schools and kindergartens. All planned work at the power facilities will be completed by the end of August.
In total in 2016, according to the plan, Tambovenergo’s specialists will repair more than 845 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines and 127 transformer substations; perform comprehensive overhaul of four substations of 35-110 kV; clear more than 469 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines.
"The implementation of the planned repair program will allow Tambovenergo to solve the problem of improving the reliability of power supply, increasing the quality of electricity transmission to consumers, and ensuring the availability of electric grid facilities for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017," stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
