"Lipetskenergo" added its vehicle fleet with new cars

As part of the long-term target program of renovation of special vehicles IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division acquired 6 GAZ 3308 vehicles. Crew cars based on the given vehicle cannot be substituted for working in rural areas.

The vehicles will be sent to line sections to increase mobility of units during the repair work in the Lipetsk region.

In total, the branch has more than 640 motor and special purpose vehicles. Among them there are special all-terrain vehicles, multipurpose vehicles and pole carriers, drilling-crane vehicles, truck cranes and line crew vehicles.

Until the end of 2016 "Lipetskenergo" plans to buy another 17 cars and special vehicles.

According to the head of the inventory and logistics office of "Lipetskenergo" Sergey Ivanov, the renewal of the vehicle fleet enables the gradual replacement of inefficient, outdated cars, and is a prerequisite for reducing its maintenance costs.
