To the address of Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Vladimir Syschikov a Letter of Gratitude was received from the Tambov regional country study museum administration. The head of the institution Andrey Chilikin expresses appreciation for the power company actively involved in the preparation and conduct of the International action "Night of Museums-2016".
The action took place in the region on 21 May on the site of the regional country study museum. Tambovenergo was represented at it by employees of the Museum of the History of the Tambov power system, who held for children and teenagers an interactive workshop on electrical safety "Magic world of electricity". They told the children about the history of electricity, introducing them to the basic rules of electrical safety, organized for them a themed quiz. At the end of the master class, Tambovenergo’s representatives presented the participants with colouring books, which will later help them consolidate their knowledge.
The Tambov regional country study museum and Tambovenergo have had long lasting fruitful partnerships. In 2010 the museum staff helped the company in the creation and opening of the Museum of the Tambov power system. In 2012 researchers of the institution attended as guests of honour the opening of the exhibition organized by Tambovenergo "History of the electricity meter: the era of great achievements", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the region formation. In turn, the branch’s experts participated in the annual museological readings, organized by the regional country study museum.
