Smolenskenergo increases grid connection of trade enterprises

IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in the past year performed grid connection of 16 trade enterprises. So, in the city of Smolensk the connection of four sites with a total capacity of 328 kW to the grid of Smolenskenergo was completed. In Ugransky, Smolensky, Yartsevsky, Yelnsky, Vyazemsky, Krasninsky, and Safonovsky districts of the Smolensk region the grid connection of 11 facilities with a total capacity of about 633 kW was performed.

The grid connection of the third store in the rating of the largest Russian meat processing plants was also performed - LLC "Velikoluksky pig-breeding facility" in Velizhsky district (60 kW) and a similar store in Rudnyansky district (151 kW) was connected in early 2016.

For the first three months the branch has received four applications for the grid connection service in 2016 of trade enterprises, whose implementation the power company will start in the near future. Among them there is a shopping and entertainment centre with a capacity of 150 kW in Vyazemsky district and a number of facilities in the regional centre with a total capacity of 960 kW.

Connecting facilities of trade and other businesses is not the only trend in the connection of entities to the grid of Smolenskenergo. For example, in support of the development of agriculture in the territory of the Smolensk region IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division is implementing priority projects on grid connection and provision of additional capacity of enterprises and facilities of agricultural purpose. It also constantly performs grid connection of socially important facilities, located in various districts of the region.
