IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held annual professional skills competitions. Teams of Distribution Zones took part in them composed of crews-winners of the qualifying stage of the competition, held in production departments of the branch.
The competition took place at the training centre of the Kostroma Power Engineering College. The teams had to go through seven stages, showing knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations and the ability to apply them in practice. Contestants repaired a transformer, a vacuum switch, a sulfur hexafluoride current transformer and isolator, extinguished the fire, freed a victim with electric shock and provided first aid.
As a result of all the stages the team of Neysky Distribution Zone scored the greatest number of points. Now it will represent the branch at professional skills competitions of IDGC of Centre, which will be held in June in the city of Rostov in the Yaroslavl region.
"We prepared thoroughly," says the master of the crew of the substation service of Neysky section Yury Tsvetkov. "Despite the fact that our team has people from different locations - Makariev, Manturovo and Neya, all the guys worked well and smoothly, understanding each other just perfectly. Now we will make every effort to adequately represent the native enterprise in competitions at the level of the company."
