Tambovenergo performs activities of its repair program ahead of schedule

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for the first quarter of 2016. All scheduled events of the document for this period have been performed, with a number of indicators the work has been carried out ahead of schedule.

From January to March Tambovenergo’s specialists repaired 20 transformer substations (TS) of 6-10 kV (5 TS were planned) and 43 transformers of 10/0.4 kV (42 were planned). 8.7 km of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV were repaired with the plan of 6.1 km. 90.6 hectares of ROWs of overhead power line were cleared (the plan was fulfilled by 100%).

In total in 2016, according to the plan, Tambov power engineers will repair more than 845 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, 127 transformer substations; perform comprehensive repair of four substations of 35-110 kV; clear more than 469 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines.

"All the work is done efficiently and on time. Now a period of massive repairs is beginning, which should be completed before the onset of autumn. Implementation of the planned repair program will allow Tambovenergo to solve the problem of improving the reliability of power supply, increasing the quality of electricity transmission to consumers, and ensuring the availability of electric grid facilities for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017," stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
