Kurskenergo revealed the strongest athletes

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division within the XVII Sports Games of Power Engineers held track-and-field events. Teams, representing production sites and the executive office of the branch, competed in 100 and 1,000 races for women, 100 and 3,000 meters for men.

Among women under 35 the best to run the hundred-metre race was a technician of production and technical team of Kurchatovsky Distribution Zone Ekaterina Kochetova, older than 35 years - a category 1 specialist of capital construction office Elena Ivannikova. The fastest in the distance of 1,000 meters was an engineer of electric modes service Lyudmila Kireeva, under 35, and older than 35 - head of customer relation section Natalia Bocharova.

In the men’s race in the distance of 100 metres in the category up to 35 years old the best time was showed by the competition debutant, an electrician for testing and measurement of Fatezhsky Distribution Zone Artem Anpilogov, over 35 years old - a master of Central section of substation service Vladimir Bocharov. He was also the first in the distance of 3,000 metres. In the category of up to 35 years in this distance the fastest was an electrician for switchgear equipment repair of Timsky Distribution Zone Mikhail Gutorov.

In the team standing the competition was won by athletes of Central section, the second place went to athletes of Northern section, and the third place of the podium was taken by the team of Western section.

Presenting awards to the winners, chairman of the trade union of Kurskenergo Nikolay Kalinin stressed that sports, which the company pays a lot of attention to, not only benefits the health, promotes a healthy lifestyle, but also creates a single corporate culture of IDGC of Centre.

On the eve of the Power Engineers’ Day within the XVII Sports Games of Kurskenergo there will be competitions in mini-football, volleyball, chess, table tennis and kettlebell lifting.
