IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division has finalized preparation for massive repair and maintenance activities. The Central Commission, established in the company, confirmed the commitment of all its structural units to implement its plans for the preparation of the region’s electric grid facilities for the upcoming autumn-winter operation period.
In anticipation of the massive work Tambovenergo’s units carried out a series of organizational and technical measures aimed at preventing occupational injuries.
In the first place they updated lists of potentially hazardous energy facilities. They tested the provision of crews and control centres with documents necessary for the safe organization and execution of works. They organized additional briefings and trainings on occupational safety issues. At training centres they demonstrated work clearance to staff for various types of work.
The branch’s staff had a periodic medical examination. Workplaces are equipped with everything necessary for safe operation: protective equipment, devices, instruments and tools, first aid kits and protective clothing.
Strict observance by Tambovenergo’s staff of safety rules and regulations will remain under constant control throughout the period of the maintenance and repair work.
