During the cleanup Belgorod power engineers planted trees and painted substations

25.04.2016

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division joined the regional ecological Saturday cleanup for landscaping and gardening of settlements of the region. The power engineers put things into sanitary and ecological order at their repair and production facilities, and premises assigned to Distribution Zones, planted trees, landscaped personalized alleys and parks.

On the Walk of Veterans of the energy sector, laid in 2010 not far from the substation 110 kV "May", the staff of the executive office of the branch together with veterans additionally planted about 40 saplings of rowan, birch and linden. After that, for the older generation a tour to the energy facility was organized, which is even today one of the most modern in the region.

Employees of Belgorod Distribution Zone made repair of facades of indoor transformer substations, most affected by the actions of graffiti lovers. Disfigured walls of the transformer substations they covered with fresh red paint corresponding to the requirements of the corporate style, cleaned the premises around the substations.

The problem of damage to electric grid facilities of the regional centre is not new. Only in the last year about 1,800 kg of paint was used for painting over graffiti, which not only spoil the appearance of the city, but also close signs warning of the danger of electric shock. The amount of damage on the scale of the branch has already reached 2 million rubles. However, most often immediately after the repair inscriptions reappear.

Violators should be aware that the actions associated with the destruction of critical infrastructure, may be regarded as a crime against public safety and qualified under Article 215.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The power engineers count on help from the family, the school and residents of apartment buildings, where energy facilities are installed. Together, it is necessary to educate young people striving for cleanness, order and beautification of their native city. A simple truth that the disfigured wall - this is not a prank, but antisocial offense - should be conveyed to the consciousness of every lover of graffiti.

"The organization of such environmental actions for IDGC of Centre has become traditional. Such events not only rally the team and strengthen the corporate spirit, but also benefit society. This year the Saturday cleanup was dedicated also to the activities for the celebration of the Birthday of the company "Rosseti," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division director Sergey Demidov.
