Retirees of Bryanskenergo visited religious sights of the Kaluga region

Retirees of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division visited religious shrines of the Kaluga region - "St. Paphnutius of Borovsk Monastery" and "St. Nicholas Chernoostrovsky Convent". The trips were organized on the initiative of the Council of Veterans of the branch. The power engineers visited the monasteries, attended excursion lectures about their history.

Visiting spiritual sights in Central Russia during Lent became a tradition for representatives of the retirees’ organization. Every year a new location is selected for a trip. For example, last year the power engineers visited the monastery "Optina Pustyn" and "Kazan Amvrosievskaya Female Pustyn". Thus, Bryanskenergo’s employees, who worked together for many years, had the opportunity to venerate the Orthodox shrines, spend time together.

In addition, the Council of Veterans of Bryanskenergo takes an active part in the social life of the branch. Many events are held in conjunction with the Youth Council: it is the celebration of the Victory Day and Fatherland Defenders’ Day, Day of the Elderly Person, the Power Engineers’ Day, etc. Thus, the enterprise maintains and enhances the continuity of generations, which the domestic energy industry has always been strong with.
