At the end of March on the websites of secondary schools in the city of Orel and the Orel region there were cartoons and videos on the subject of electrical safety. The initiator of the use of the Internet resources of schools to inform was IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division. The power company sent the corresponding proposal to the Regional Department of Education, which received support.
Movies and cartoons are used by teachers as illustrative materials during lessons of life safety, in addition they can be viewed on the public websites.
"Orelenergo over the years does systematic work aimed at preventing electrical injuries. Particular attention is paid to work with children, because they due to the young age often do not fully understand how dangerous electricity can be. Placement of video content on the sites will allow schools to convey information about handling with it to the widest possible audience - teachers, pupils, their parents," emphasizes the head of industrial safety and production control of "Orelenergo" Pyotr Mikolyuk.
