Tambovenergo held a professional skills competition

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division ended the competition of professional skill of crews for repair and maintenance of 35-110 kV equipment. They were attended by crews of sections of the substation service of the enterprise, each comprised of the master to repair switchgear equipment and three electricians. The power engineers demonstrated their professional skills in five stages (check of knowledge of existing rules, regulations and standards through testing, release and provision of first aid to the victim with electric shock, check of an air purifying transformer filter, fire-fighting, processing of work orders and targeted instruction for maintenance of a 110 kV isolator). The judge commission assessed their actions on a point system, special attention was paid to safety during all operations.

The intrigue of who would win the right to represent Tambovenergo in competitions of IDGC of Centre persisted until the last moment. As a result, the winner of the competition was the crew of Kirsanovsky section of the substation service, just five points ahead of colleagues from the crew of Michurinsky section. Experts of Tambovsky section were the third. The master of the substation service of Tambovsky section Dmitry Abramov, an electrician to repair switchgear equipment of the substation service of Kirsanovsky section Andrey Chernykh, an electrician to repair switchgear equipment of the substation service of Michurinsky section Alexey Koltsov were named the best in the profession. The winning crews and the best in the profession were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Vladimir Syschikov thanked the participants, judges and organizers for the smooth and responsible work. "Today each of you wanted to show all your skills and abilities. I hope that the professional skills competition will be an excellent base for the exchange of experiences, which will be applied in the daily activities of operational and maintenance personnel," stressed the head of the branch.
