IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division is finalizing its preparation for massive maintenance and repair work, which will begin in May. In anticipation of the massive work subdivisions of the enterprise have performed organizational and technical measures aimed at preventing occupational injuries.
In the first place lists of potentially hazardous energy facilities have been updated. Provision of crews and operators’ centres with documents necessary for the safe organization and execution of work has been checked. Additional briefings were conducted with staff, employees were trained in safety classrooms. At training centres demonstration training work clearance is held for different types of work for administrative, technical, first responding, operating and maintenance and repair personnel.
Employees of the branch undergo periodic medical examination. Their workplaces are equipped with everything necessary for safe operation: safety gear, devices, instruments and tools, first aid kits, and protective clothing.
Specially created commissions of the branch are checking the readiness of structural units of Tambovenergo for massive repair work. The final assessment of their preparation will be given by the central commission, based on its results the subdivisions of the branch will be awarded certificates of readiness.
"Every year we responsibly approach the question of preparation for the repair campaign, since the reliability of electric grids operation in the Tambov region directly depends on its successful implementation," comments on the course of the check First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Tambovenergo Igor Polyakov. "The subdivisions are ready to implement all our plans and prepare the grids for the upcoming autumn-winter period."
