Orelenergo’s specialists conducted an electrical safety lesson in Pavlovskaya school

11.04.2016

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division continue to hold master classes on prevention of electrical injuries in schools of the Orel region. Another lesson was organized by the power company for pupils of grades 3-5 of Pavlovskaya comprehensive school in Zalegoschensky district, where more than 200 children study, including young animators – pupils of the creative studio "Craftswoman", who make modelling clay cartoons on social issues.

The specialists of the branch told the children about the dangers of electricity, on the rules of safe handling. With training animated films and videos they explained to the schoolchildren the rules of behaviour near power facilities.

The children actively discussed what they saw, asked the power engineers a lot of questions.

As explained by a teacher of Pavlovskaya school and head of the animation studio "Craftswoman" Olga Menshova, such interest is not accidental: most of its clay animation the schoolchildren devote to safety issues. After the lesson the participants offered cooperation to the power engineers: soon a children’s view of the problem of electrical injuries will be shown in a new short-length animated clay cartoon. "Maybe, it will not be one piece of work, but a whole animated series about the careful handling of electricity," hopes Olga Menshova.
