Kostromaenergo held a production meeting. It was attended by deputy directors of the branch, heads of departments and chiefs of 27 Distribution Zones. The event was chaired by Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division director Alexander Glebov.
During the meeting the production activities of the Distribution Zones in 2015 were summed up and the tasks for 2016 were specified. Thus, in 2015 specialists of Kostromaenergo performed all the planned activities for repair and clearing of ROWs. They carried out a comprehensive overhaul of 22 substations (SS) of 35-110 kV, repaired 530 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. The Kostroma power engineers of IDGC of Centre cleared of trees and shrubs 1,846.6 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines and extended them in the amount of 373 hectares.
The implementation of the repair program in the planned volume of clearing and expansion of ROWs ensured the successful completion of the autumn-winter period of 2015-2016. The average duration of emergency outage in the grids of Kostromaenergo was reduced by more than two times: now it is 1.85 hours instead of 4 hours.
Summarizing the results of last year, the power engineers discussed the work plan for the current year. Such topics raised at the meeting were no small importance as the issues of organization of the internal technical control, increasing the level of operation of equipment, production safety, implementation of the investment program, including the performance of work with the use of own forces under grid connection contracts. The main objective of each Distribution Zones is implementation of key performance indicators in all activity areas.
The meeting also reviewed the results of the work to reduce electricity losses, questions about the interaction of the chiefs of the Distribution Zones with the police to identify and respond to non-contractual and non-metered electricity consumption, issues of work with human resources. For the chiefs of the Distribution Zones an excursion was organized to the multifunctional centre of applied qualifications of Energy, Housing and Utilities, created with the direct participation of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division. There are retraining programs of Kostroma power engineers of IDGC of Centre held, as well as for employees of Yarenergo. Modern equipment was demonstrated, interactive environment that allows to create new production skills effectively.
According to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division director Alexander Glebov, full-time production meetings allow for a greater appreciation of the work of Distribution Zones: "During the meeting the chiefs of the Distribution Zones not only have the opportunity to solve production problems, to respond to requests of colleagues and evaluate operation of units, but also to have fruitful exchange of experiences."
Meetings with chiefs of Distribution Zones of Kostromaenergo are conducted regularly. They identify "bottlenecks", which require careful study, outline ways to address issues arising in the normal course of business of the branch.
