In March 2016 specialists of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division held a meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses within the "Day of Entrepreneurs". During the event the power company and business representatives held an open discussion on the timing and procedure of connection of small and medium businesses to power grids. The event was attended by Head of the Smolensk regional branch of the Russian public organization "OPORA RUSSIA" Elena Moskovtseva, a representative of "OPORA RUSSIA" from the city of Safonovo, individual entrepreneur Alexander Bogachev, a representative of CJSC "Smolensk Cellular Communications" Alexander Shinkevich, and Director of LLC "Torzhok" Svetlana Kozlova. The meeting was held by Deputy Director for Sale and Development of Services of Smolenskenergo Andrey Zhydenko. Questions of businessmen were also answered by Head of grid connections Sergey Lapin, Head of interaction with customers Alexander Wojciechowski, and Head of customer service Tatiana Antonyuk.
During the event participants had a chance to discuss a considerable range of issues related to the grid connection procedure for applicants of the category of small and medium-sized businesses. Through direct communication entrepreneurs had the opportunity to find answers to the questions "what if industrial activity changes", "how to implement the quickest grid connection" and other important issues related to the interaction with the resource supplying company.
The power company paid particular attention to the possibility to get a comprehensive service of grid connection support, in which IDGC of Centre’s specialists, in addition to the main contract, are ready to carry out the whole list of activities related to the customer’s competence. According to experts, it will reduce the time and improve the quality of work. The integrated service to support the grid connection includes all activities, ranging from the installation of ground loop and ending with the issuance of an act of differentiation of operating responsibility.
As the representatives of small and medium-sized businesses note, by participating in the "Day of Entrepreneurs" they could as quickly as possible resolve the issues that are relevant to them. "Such a way of working with customers is in demand, it promotes the consolidation of feedback and prompt resolution of problematic issues. It is planned that that the Days of Entrepreneurs will be held on a quarterly basis," stressed Andrey Zhydenko.
