Veterans’ organization of Bryanskenergo summed up the work in 2015

IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division held a meeting of the Veterans’ Council of Bryanskenergo, at which the results of 2015 were summed up and plans for the future were defined.

Last year the organization was engaged in issues aimed at providing social and material support to veterans of the enterprise. They organized cultural activities, in particular - tours to monasteries of the Kaluga region, as well as visits to the Bryansk Drama Theatre named after A.K. Tolstoy.

Members of the Veterans’ Council took part in significant events that took place in Bryanskenergo: dedicated to the Day of the elderly person and the Power Engineers’ Day, dedicated to holiday on February 23 and March 8, as well as the Day of the city of Bryansk, which is celebrated on September 17. On the eve of May 9, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, on the initiative of Bryanskenergo, on the Bryansk land there was a meeting of representatives of veterans’ organizations of Bryansk and Moscow.

This year the Council will continue its work in assisting the company’s veterans. Particular attention will be paid to collection of information about power engineers - veterans of the Great Patriotic War, which is needed to replenish the museum of the branch.
