In the past year a number of activities of the Youth Council of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division were aimed at the formation of sense of social responsibility and patriotism with young employees. So, members of the Youth Council in addition to the traditional participation in the patriotic actions of the Day of Liberation of Smolensk and Victory Day, took part in the information project "The Story of a Feat", writing stories about relatives and friends who fought in World War II, making creative performances at the concert for veterans of the power industry, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
The Youth Council of Smolenskenergo traditionally pays great attention to the development of physical culture and healthy lifestyles. Among past events there are traditional tournaments in billiards and bowling for staff of the branch.
For the purpose of fulfillment and development of invention activities and innovation renaissance the Council developed and implemented the "Regulations on organization of work on rationalization and invention".
Representatives of the Council took an active part in many events of the company, the most striking of which was the KVN Festival of IDGC of Centre, the annual review and competition of amateur art of IDGC of Centre.
Much work is done by the Youth Council in terms of adaptation of young specialists, who have come to work at the company. Chairman of the Council conducts an interview with newly employed young employees for their hobbies, interests, work and social life. In the past year the Council developed a reminder for a young employee of the branch with indication of information required for the initial adaptation.
At the end of the year the Youth Council organized and held a contest for the best young employee of the branch in three categories: the best young manager, the best young specialist and the best young worker. Based on the analysis of provided questionnaires indicating production achievements in the past year, the Commission identified the winners: in the nomination of the manager – M.M. Khokholev, a master of a crew operating distribution networks in Temkinsky Distribution Zone, in the category of specialists – A.A. Kulachenkova, an engineer of category 2 of energy conservation and efficiency office, in the category of workers – V.V. Dmitrakov, an electrician operating distribution networks in Dorogobuzhsky Distribution Zone. The winners received diplomas and financial incentives.
