IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division summed up the results of work on grid connection of consumers to electric networks in 2015. During this period the power company performed 10,142 grid connection contracts, which is almost 120% higher than in 2014. Revenues from the sale of this service amounted to 166.9 million rubles, the amount of the maximum connected load - more than 198 MW.
Among the largest projects implemented by Voronezhenergo in 2015 there is grid connection of a residential complex for military personnel with 2,176 apartments, located in the city of Voronezh in Gramshi Street. The design capacity of the facility is 3.8 MW. The work was done by an order of the Federal state enterprise "Customer's Capital Construction Office of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation". In 2015 specialists of the branch also completed the first stage of grid connection of the residential complex "Ozerki" in Left Bank District of the city of Voronezh, being built under the program "Housing for Russian family". The power company plans to complete the second stage in the current year, the total connected capacity will be 4.5 MW. The residential complex in Novousmansky district, erected by "Voronezhbytstroy" Ltd., was also among the major grid connected facilities. The amount of the executed grid connection contract there was 3.5 MW.
"The number of contracts for connection to the grid of Voronezhenergo grows every year, due to the increase in rates and volumes of housing construction in the region. To provide electricity to new customers, specialists of the branch perform a set of activities to increase electrical capacity, commission new energy facilities," stresses Deputy Director for Sale and Development of Services of IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division Pavel Yanshin.
Since 2015 Voronezhenergo within a pilot project of IDGC of Centre provides a new additional service "Execution of work related to the competence of customers in the implementation of the grid connection procedure" ("Grid connection support"). Grid connection is a complex multi-step procedure that includes a set of measures to document and connect a facility to the mains. Much of the work is on consumers: their obligation is to collect a set of required documents, implement a number of mandatory technical procedures. Within the service "Grid connection support" qualified staff of Voronezhenergo is ready to perform them.
