Kostromaenergo held biathlon competitions

At the sports centre in the city of Sharya the annual biathlon relay of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division was held, organized by the trade union committee of the enterprise. The competition was attended by teams of four Distribution Zones and the executive office of the branch. At the start they had the corporate clothing and hunting skis – this way the power engineers are equipped to perform rounds of power lines.

The competitions were held in a bitter struggle. They were not without oddities. In the heat of the race in the lead on the first stage a representative of Sharinsky Distribution Zone forgot to go to the firing line. But his lead was so great that even after returning and shooting targets, he remained in the first place. It was the very team of Sharinsky Distribution Zone that became the winner at the end of the four stages of the competition. The second place was taken by representatives of Neysky Distribution Zone, the third - Kostromsky Distribution Zone.

"Such events are useful from the point of view of not only promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing sports talents, but also to strengthen the corporate spirit. Therefore, we plan to hold them in the future," stressed Head of HR department of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division Nadezhda Muravyeva.
