At the end of 2015 IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division performed 4,596 contracts for grid connection, which is 11.3% more than in 2014. The total connected capacity was 98.155 MW. Revenue from the grid connection services of Smolenskenergo amounted to more than 121,330 million rubles without VAT. At the same time 3,909 contracts for connection to power grids of individuals up to 15 kW were executed.
In 2015 more than thirty legal entities were connected in the Smolensk region - large enterprises, public facilities, etc. IDGC of Centre performs grid connection of agro-business facilities within activities undertaken jointly with the regional authorities to create conditions for the development of domestic agricultural producers. Among them is CJSC "Troparevo" that breeds cattle and pigs, grows and harvests forage crops, located in Pochinkovsky district. Another major grid connection facility was an agricultural shop of LLC "Meat Razguliay" with its design capacity of 525 kW (524.8 kW), located in Gagarinsky district. In addition, Smolenskenergo’s experts carried out the connection to the power grid of the company small private agricultural facilities: a pig farm in Roslavlsky district (LLC "Bacon"), farms in Yartsevsky and Safonovsky districts, a granary in the village of Patochnaya, a poultry building in the village of Andreykovo.
An important activity of the branch is the grid connection of social facilities. In 2015 Smolenskenergo’s experts provided electricity to a boarding house for the elderly and disabled of Dneprovsky rural settlement in Novoduginsky district, kindergartens in Smolensk, Vyazma, Kapyrevschina, Mikhnovka, a sports and recreation centre in the village of Temkino, a boarding house in the village of Molgino in Novoduginsky district of the Smolensk region. One of the major facilities connected to the grid of Smolenskenergo was a traumatic facility of Regional State Healthcare Institution "Clinical Emergency Hospital".
Grid connection of facilities of applicants has been and remains a priority of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division. This year the branch will also strive for the timely implementation of customers’ requests.
