In 2016 Kurskenergo to spend more than 209 million rubles on execution of the repair program

12.02.2016

IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division approved its repair program for 2016. It is planned to spend 209.2 million rubles to implement its activities. The repair schedule takes into account the interests of consumers: work related to disconnection of power supply will not be carried out during the autumn-winter peak loads.

The program provides for a comprehensive overhaul of 24 substations of 35-110 kV, 416 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV and 2,581.1 km of overhead lines of 0.4 - 110 kV. In order to prevent failures from trees and shrubs over 910.5 hectares of ROWs of overhead power lines will be cleared, 131.1 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines will be extended.

The peculiarity of this year’s document is that it includes for repairs a number of facilities that carry important social functions. The 35 kV overhead line "Volokno - Streletskaya - Petrenka" provides electricity to Kursk and the Kursk region. The 110/35/10 substations "Konyshevka" and "Gorshechnoye" and 35/10 "Kurchatov" feed Konyshevsky and Gorshechensky districts and the central part of the city of Kurchatov, including several dozens of schools, hospitals, and municipal infrastructure facilities. In addition, "Konyshevka" supplies power to agri-business facilities of LLC "White Bird - Kursk" and "Gorshechnoye" – operation of sections of the railway and a gas pipeline.

"In the formation of the repair program we took into account the results of diagnostic inspections of equipment, rounds and checks of electrical installations carried out in 2015. Based on this information, we can in a timely manner eliminate defects and improve the performance of the equipment and reduce electricity losses in the grid," stressed First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division Vyacheslav Istomin.
