IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division concluded 9,374 contracts for the provision of value-added services in 2015

In 2015 Smolenskenergo concluded 9,374 contracts for the provision of value-added services (for comparison, in 2014 there were 8,962). The most popular among the residents of the Smolensk region services were replacement, installation and testing of electricity meters, as well as performance of work within the competence of customers in the grid connection procedure.

For installation and maintenance of metering devices the branch in 2015 received 7,655 applications, which is 26.4% more than in 2014. Smolensk power engineers provide services for checking, replacement, removal and programming of meters.

316 contracts were signed for the provision of maintenance and repair of outdoor lighting networks. IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division currently maintains about 34 thousand lighting fixtures in the municipalities of the Smolensk region.

In addition, in 2015 the branch received applications for operational maintenance and repair of electrical networks and electrical equipment, testing and diagnostics of high-voltage equipment and electrical safety devices, removal of grids, and some others.

Revenue for the value-added services in 2015 amounted to 92.33 million rubles, which will be spent on modernization of electric grid facilities.

In 2016 Smolenskenergo will continue providing value-added services at the request of consumers. Emphasis will be placed on the development of value-added services and optimization of customer service.

Providing value-added services, on the one hand, helps the company get additional funding for the modernization of the electric grid facilities, on the other - it allows consumers to get professional assistance in resolving problems with quality power supply.
