The first in 2016 Safety Day was held at IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division. The event is held on a monthly basis in order to prevent occupational injuries, improve labour discipline and culture of production.
The commission, composed of senior representatives of Kurskenergo, verified elimination of deficiencies identified during the Safety Day in December last year. Within the program to reduce risks of accidents in all Distribution Zones video reports were considered on the preparation of the workplace and the permission of a crew to work with the analysis of errors made by staff.
With operating and first responding and maintenance personnel of Kurskenergo workshops were conducted on competent management of operational negotiations and working out skills in first aid at electric shock using a robot simulator "Gosha". All drivers were additionally instructed to comply with the traffic rules and speed limits due to sudden weather changes and emerged sleet on the roads.
At the end of the Safety Day about 200 activities are planned aimed at developing the professional skills of employees, improving the safe operation of the equipment, which must be completed prior to the next Safety Day.
