In 2015 IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division performed more than 4,800 grid connections with total capacity of about 68 MW, providing electricity to dozens of businesses and residents of the Lipetsk region.
Priority in the framework of the federal program to support the domestic agricultural sector was given by the power company to connection of agricultural enterprises. Among them there is OJSC "Chicken Kingdom" in Zadonsky district, a granary and a pig farm of LLC "Agroinvest" in Izmalkovsky district, an automated greenhouse of LLC "GrinInvest" in Dankovsky district.
And a hatchery "Don" of PJSC Group "Cherkizovo" in the special economic zone "Yeletsprom" in Zadonsky district of the Lipetsk region, the first phase of which was opened on December 4, 2015. In the future it is planned to create one of Europe’s largest poultry cluster. To ensure its energy needs the power company by now has constructed a 10 kV overhead power line with its length of more than 7 km, and installed two additional distribution bays.
The power engineers performed more extensive work to create power grid infrastructure for the being built in the Lipetsk neighbourhood "Yeletskiy". The project implementation is another contribution of the Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre to the execution of the state program of housing construction.
Important grid connected facilities of "Lipetskenergo" in 2015 were construction sites of OJSC "House-Building Factory". This construction company with its own manufacturing facilities is implementing several housing projects in the region. Among them there is the construction of the neighborhood "Star", the construction of the residential complex "Petrovsky quarter" in 50 years NLMK street and houses in the city of Zadonsk in Karl Marx street.
With the participation of "Lipetskenergo" another federal task is being implemented in the region as well – moving citizens from emergency housing. So, on the eve of the New Year, with the participation of the power company in the city of Lebedyan a new 55-apartment house was commissioned. Built in record time, it became a real New Year gift for 37 families of settlers.
A special place was traditionally given to connection of socially important facilities. In 2015 electricity was supplied to 7 kindergartens, 5 schools, 2 fitness centres, 2 cultural institutions and about 20 water supply and sanitation facilities.
Thus, by carrying out activities in the field of grid connection of consumers, "Lipetskenergo" makes a significant contribution to socio-economic development of the Lipetsk region, the formation of its investment attractiveness and as a consequence, improves the quality of life of its inhabitants.
