Kostromaenergo held sporting events dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Electrification Plan

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held sports competitions among the business units dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Electrification Plan. It was attended by about a hundred of power engineers, who for two days were competing in volleyball, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, shooting and chess.

The competitions were held in a bitter struggle. "All participants and teams went all out, fought to the end, showing real sportsmanship," stresses Head of HR of Kostromaenergo Nadezhda Muravyeva.

The winners of the tennis tournament were the chief of operating and technology group of Nerekhtsky Distribution Zone Dmitry Gruzdev and an engineer of the electric energy metering section of the executive office Veronika Novozhilova - silver medalists of the VI Summer Games of IDGC of Centre. The swimming competitions were held in two age groups, three "gold" medals of four went to representatives of Distribution Zones: City Distribution Zone Olga Panova and Alexey Menshikov and a worker of Kostromsky Distribution Zone Ilya Smirnov. Another victory in the pool is on account of Olga Borodulina from the executive office. The first place in chess was taken by a representative of Neysky Distribution Zone Sergey Lisin, in weightlifting the best was a specialist of the electric energy metering section of the executive office Andrey Bystrov.

The competitions revealed new sports talents, this year the program was added with shooting, where the best was a master of Kostromsky Distribution Zone Alexander Muravyev and a specialist of the Customer Service Centre Olga Stoyalova.

 

The volleyball competitions were the most spectacular. The team of the executive office, led by its captain - Director of Kostromaenergo Alexander Glebov, won in them. It eventually took first place in the team standing.


Annual sports competitions of Kostromaenergo are part of ongoing system work of the enterprise, aimed at promoting among power engineers healthy lifestyles, creating opportunities to expand their sports talents. The branch regularly hosts sports events, family games, "Dad, Mom, I - a sporting family". Sports clubs and sections in volleyball, swimming, football, table tennis and running work during the year.
