IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held a solemn meeting devoted to the Power Engineers’ Day. The festive event was attended by more than 250 employees of Kurskenergo, industry veterans, heads of the regional administration and the city of Kursk, the Regional Duma, representatives of universities, partners of the power company.
Opening the solemn meeting, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky congratulated those present on the holiday, and then summed up the main results of the branch operation in the past year. Targets of productive supply of electricity to consumers were achieved. The production program of repairs and maintenance of electric grid facilities was fully implemented.
In 2015 experts of Kurskenergo reconstructed the overhead line "CHP-1 - Garden", which provides reliable flow of power from generating plants to distribution networks of the branch and the substation "Ore", which is now able to fully satisfy the energy needs of its main customer - the Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant in Zheleznogorsk. The substation 110/35/10kV "Atom City" was renovated - the main source of power for 40 thousand consumers of housing and communal sector of "the city of atomic scientists" Kurchatov.
Much was made in the area of interaction with customers. Since April 2015 "Kurskenergo" has been implementing within a pilot project of IDGC of Centre the service "Performance of activities within the competence of the client in the grid connection procedure" ("Grid Connection Support"). Since the beginning of the year 1,779 "turnkey" grid connection contracts have been concluded.
Kurskenergo actively participated in the implementation of regional and municipal socio-economic programs. In the current year the power engineers provided grid connection of a new neighborhood in the village of Great Soldiers, a sports and recreation centre in the settlement of Kshensky in Soviet district, a production site of LLC "Agropromkomplektatsiya" in Dmitrievsky district, and the pig farm "Belyaevsky" in Konyshevsky district.
In general, Alexander Rudnevsky assessed the results of work of the team of Kurskenergo as successful.
Speaking after Director of the branch Deputy Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Demin, congratulated employees of Kurskenergo and veterans of the energy industry on their professional holiday: "Because of your selfless work, industry, agriculture and the social sphere of the Kursk region are dynamically developing, the energy system of the region constantly improves," stressed Alexander Demin.
During the solemn ceremony further on more than 200 employees of Kurskenergo were awarded industry and departmental awards, certificates of honour from the regional authorities and the administration of the city of Kursk.
A pleasant surprise for the power engineers and their guests was a bright musical program prepared by employees and veterans of Kurskenergo, which closed the event.
