Kurskenergo summed up a contest of children's crafts on the theme of energy saving

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up a contest of children's arts and crafts "Energy saving - a sensible decision!", organized by the power company with the support of the regional Centre of energy saving and the Regional Centre for Development of Creativity of Children and Young People.

The contest was attended by children and adolescents from 7 to 15 years of age. The children were asked to depict with paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, glass and various techniques of artistic creation their vision of energy-saving lifestyle and examples of rational use of energy resources.

 

More than 70 schoolchildren from Kursk and districts of the region sent their works for the contest. The jury, composed of representatives of Kurskenergo, the Utilities and Energy Committee of the Kursk region, the Centre for Development of Creativity of Children and Young People, estimated them on the basis of their compliance with the given topic, the originality of ideas, complexity and quality of performance. "We saw a lot of interesting works. The children not only demonstrated their talent, originality of thought, but also showed an unusual approach to the development of the given subject," noted a jury member, Deputy Director of RGA" Engineering Company "of the Utilities and Energy Committee of the Kursk region Oleg Valishvili.

 

As a result the youngest winner in the contest group (grades 1-4) was a pupil of form 1 of the Kursk secondary school named after A.M. Lomakin Lev Lubanets, who made a cardboard model of a house, functioning with solar panels. In the middle group (grades 5-8) the work of natural materials "And in the woods all is metered. We save!" of a pupil of form 8 of the Lobazovsky secondary school in Oktyabrsky district Gleb Frolov was recognized the best. The first place in the senior group (grades 9-11) was taken by a student of form 9 of the Vinnikovsky secondary school Alexander Zaikin. Using the technique of decoupage, he created a model of development "In modern spiral to the future", which became one of the most difficult of the submitted for the contest.

The solemn awarding ceremony will be held on 15 December at Kurskenergo, at the end of the scheduled All-Russian energy-saving lesson. The children will be awarded diplomas and gifts, and their teachers will be appreciated with letters of thanks.
