IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division held a round table with representatives of the business community of the Tambov region on improving availability of energy infrastructure and simplification of the process of connection to the power grid. The company was represented by Head of the Department of Grid Connection of IDGC of Centre Timur Glushko, head of the section for organization of grid connection of IDGC of Centre Svetlana Secret, Deputy Director for Sale and Development of Services of Tambovenergo Alexander Murzin, and head of the grid connection office of the branch Roman Stanin.
The roundtable participants discussed the problems both consumers and the grid company face in the framework of the implementation of agreements on grid connection. In particular, unclaimed redundant power was touched upon as an extremely urgent topic today. Paying only the used power, consumers have no incentive to reduce, transfer or give up the surplus of the previously provided reserve. The company, being aware of its responsibility for ensuring energy needs of the region, fulfills its obligations in full, constructing new and reconstructing the already existing energy facilities and spending on it money that could be used for modernization and repair of power grid infrastructure, provision of grid connection of socially significant facilities.
The power engineers also answered questions of the participants of the "round table". So, representatives of small businesses were interested in the possibility of simplified connection of low-power electrical installations. In addition, the applicants received answers on the grid connection of temporary facilities, power installations of large consumers, as well as legal aspects of the grid connection procedure of non-profit organizations - gardening companies and garage cooperatives. They were also told about value-added services provided by IDGC of Centre, in particular - about the services "Grid connection support" and "Removal of networks", installation and replacement of metering devices.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses expressed the wish that the practice of holding such round tables to be continued. This will allow consumers to get answers to urgent questions arising at the stage of connection to electric networks first hand.
