All winners of the XVI Sports Games of Kurskenergo were determined

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division completed the XVI annual sports games. Over two hundred athletes, representing teams of the Central, Western, Eastern, Southern and Northern sections of the branch and the executive office, participated in them. Competitions were held in two stages. In June, the best in athletics disciplines were determined. And last week winners in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, weightlifting and chess were announced.

Chess players competed for the first prizes at the "autumn" stage. With men the best was the head of Production Control Mikhail Loktionov, with women - the deputy head of the operations service of the operational and technological service Oksana Kovalenko. In table tennis competitions among women the winner was an engineer of category 1 for calculations of the Eastern section of relay protection and emergency automation Valentina Shvedova, with men the winner was an engineer of category 1 of the department of operation and development of metering systems from the executive offce Sergey Bashkanov. In weightlifting Deputy Chief for sale of services of Distribution Zone of the Southern section Gennady Anokhin proved to be the strongest.

The audience had great interest in the most spectacular and dynamic sports - volleyball and football. All teams made every effort, demonstrating the will and commitment in every game episode. As a result, the first place in volleyball was taken by the team of the executive office. Second and third places were taken by power engineers of the Western and Southern sections, respectively. In mini-football the places were distributed as follows: the first place went to the team of the Central section, "silver" - to the team of the executive office, and "bronze" - to athletes of the Southern section.

 

In the team competition the first place was taken by the team of the executive office. The second place went to the team of the Central section, and the third one to power engineers of the Southern section.

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division Director Alexander Rudnevsky congratulated the winners and presented them with diplomas and cups.

"Promotion of healthy lifestyle and involving staff in sports is one of the priorities of the social policy. And that energy boost that you have in the competition, I am sure, has some positive impact on productivity, and generally on the work of our company," stressed Mr. Rudnevsky.
