To the address of Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division Alexander Rudnevsky a letter of thanks was received from Head of the Education Department of the Administration of Belovsky district of the Kursk region Andrey Shapovalov. In his letter the representative of the municipality thanks power engineers for regular classes in rural schools on electrical safety. "Power engineers like no others are able to properly convey to our children as much information as possible about the correct and safe use of electricity, thus preventing cases of children’s electric injuries," the document says.
Lessons on electrical safety are conducted with the support of the Committee of Education and Science of the Kursk region in the framework of the agreement, concluded in 2014 by Kurskenergo with the regional authorities and the territorial divisions of federal structures, aimed at preventing electric injuries to third parties at electric grid facilities. Since the beginning of the school year specialists of the company has held about three hundred classes on electrical safety in educational institutions in the region, more than ten thousand children have attended them. More than 1,800 pupils of schools in Belovsky district had nineteen lessons.
