The team of Lipetskenergo won the silver medal of the sixteenth Sports Games of labour collectives of the city of Lipetsk, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
18 teams throughout the year defended the honour of their enterprises, and fought for the title of the most sporting team. Participants competed both in winter and in summer sports, including swimming, table tennis, track and field, cross country skiing and many others.
Competitions in mini - football and volleyball were the most spectacular, according to the athletes and judges. In these sports the team of Lipetskenergo was able to bypass all the competitors and won the first place prize on the podium.
"Second place in the team event is an indication that our employees do sports and keep their bodies in good shape. The social policy of Lipetskenergo is aimed, among other things, to promote a healthy lifestyle among staff. Sports events, held in the branch office, are a clear proof of that," commented the head of HR of Lipetskenergo Katerina Mushnikova.
