An employee of Smolenskenergo was thanked for his assistance in catching a dangerous criminal

Chief of Demidovsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division Alexander Mikhailov was awarded a valuable gift and a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Smolensk region for his assistance to the police. With the support of Alexander Mikhailov during search operations conducted in the territory of Demidovsky district of the Smolensk region by the police, the location of a dangerous criminal was identified, and he was caught.

Alexander Mikhailov has been working at Smolenskenergo since 1996. For over 13 years he has headed Demidovsky Distribution Zone. He is a member of the Demidovsky District Council of Deputies of the Smolensk region. Alexander Mikhailov already has a few letters of thanks and certificates of honour from the power company, the Fire-rescue Centre, the authorities for his professionalism, however, the valuable gift and the letter of thanks from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Smolensk region was the first award for courage. The award was handed over by Police Major General Mikhail Skokov solemnly.
