For 9 months of 2015 IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division received 3,840 applications for grid connection for the total capacity of 189.64 MW. The number of applications for grid connection is increasing, it shows steady growth in consumer demand for the service "Implementation of grid connection". It is beneficial to social and economic development of the region.
During the reporting period 3,192 contracts were also signed on the implementation of grid connection of power installations of consumers with the total capacity of 91.7 MW. The branch now has 3,599 contracts for the total capacity of 203.9 MW at the stage of execution. For three quarters of the year 3,142 customers were connected to Smolenskenergo’s grids for the total capacity of 67.81 MW, among them - 2679 residential customers (connected capacity up to 15 kW) for the total capacity of 30.14 MW. The most active grid connection in the region is still underway in the area of individual housing construction and small businesses.
During 9 months the large facilities were connected - a warehouse of food and nonfood products of CJSC "Tander" in the village of Pokornoye in Smolensk district with its capacity of 1,891 kW, a meat processing plant with an administrative building of Private Entrepreneur Igor Mikhailovich Novikov in Smolensk with the power of 1,000 kW.
Experts of Smolenskenergo provided power supply to socially important facilities, including a boarding house in the village of Molgino in Novoduginsky district of the Smolensk region with the capacity of 0.35 MW and two kindergartens in the village of Mikhnovka in Smolensk district (0.144 MW) and in the micro-district Nightingale Grove in Smolensk (0.161 MW).
