The event was organized by IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division supported by the state-financed institution of the Tver region "Energy Efficiency Agency" and the group of companies "Auto Premium".
The route of the "Energy-saving motor rally - 2015" stretches from the city of Tver to the town of Konakovo. With vehicles of the official dealer of the brands Audi, BMW, Nissan, Datsun, Ford, Peugeot, Mitsubishi, DongFeng, Geely the power engineers overcame almost 80 kilometres. The ultimate goal of the travel was a training seminar "Energy as a real mechanism of budget savings", which experts of Tverenergo together with colleagues from the state-financed institution "Energy Efficiency Agency" held for representatives of the governments of Konakovo district, budgetary institutions and enterprises of housing and utilities sector of the municipality.
In their speeches the experts told the audience about the requirements of Federal Law №261-FZ "On energy saving and energy efficiency", which clearly identified the measures needed to achieve maximum energy savings.
"The pace of implementation of the tasks set by the legislature, depending on how soon all members of the Russian community will come to understand the importance of energy efficiency and the economic benefits that it has," clarified Mikhail Pilavov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director. "Our event is intended to draw public attention to the problems of conservation and to intensify the work of the authorities, public institutions, enterprises of housing and communal services in this direction."
The report on "Implementation of energy service contracts in budgetary institutions" stirred a lively discussion of the audience in the hall. According to Sergey Silenko, Head of the state-financed institution of the Tver region "Energy Efficiency Agency", today it is the most affordable way to implement measures to improve the energy efficiency of municipal facilities in terms of budget austerity.
Simultaneously with the seminar in secondary school №7 of the town of Konakovo the employees of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre held a lesson for schoolchildren of class 2A on energy-saving. It turned out that children know little about the topic of economic use of natural resources, though they have heard much about energy saving light bulbs. The schoolchildren got quickly involved in the process and actively responded to the questions of the hostess. As a result of activities, all the children received colouring books "Energolandiya" as a gift and with their class master they thanked the representatives of Tverenergo for the useful and interesting lesson.
